I saw my first octopus on Saturday. While I wanted to tell you all about the incredible wealth of sea life I saw this past week, I should start at the beginning by telling you the purpose of this blog.
Every since I realized being a geologist wasn't going to pay me enough to afford cable while living in the DC, I have been in the legal administrative field. After providing top-notch professional services to some of the largest international law firms in the world, I started providing research or document review for trial or other such services on the side to smaller firms and businesses. Now, Mermaid Transcription & Administrative Service, LLC (a/k/a MTA) is my full-time endeavor.
To keep my company name on your mind, I will share my bi-monthly diving adventures! Just think, 5 years ago, I couldn't even swim. To be honest, I am not sure I was that great of a swimmer even 3 years ago. Look at me now, a certified "MERMAID!"

Before I was a mermaid, I would have been avoiding this large jellyfish at all costs. It was such a beautiful pink and pale yellow.
